Does the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e block third-party ink?

Dynamic Security status, official workarounds and cartridge numbers, from HP's own documents. Last checked 2026-10-28.

Unverified

Unverified. HP does not publish a status for this model that we could find.

HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e is not on HP's July 2021 list of Dynamic Security printers, so we cannot say it blocks third-party ink. HP also does not publish a per-model list after that date. HP's current FAQ says its "HP standard" printers use dynamic security to block cartridges with a non-HP chip, so don't assume it is open. We mark it unverified rather than guess. [1] [2]

HP+ note. HP says HP+ eligible printers can be identified by a small “e” at the end of the product number. If HP+ is activated on a printer, HP says it requires Original HP ink or toner for the lifetime of the printer. Not every “e” printer is necessarily set up with HP+; check your own printer.
